you're very welcome! Report Abuse

To the tuna casserole, I would add some pimientos - it not only makes it look more interesting, but it adds a little taste to a dish that my family finds pretty bland! Report Abuse

quesadillas!!!
Goulash? Ground beef, cooked elbow macaroni, canned stewed tomatoes, tomato paste, lightly sauteed onion, salt, pepper and a bit

of sugar to go with the tomatoes. Use as much of any of them

to suit your taste.
i will go with my family's tried and true favourite of bolognaise. It's versatile as you can use any type of mince (whatever is on sale), and to make it stretch further you can add a can of three bean mix or red kidney beans. I have 5 children (step children included). 500 grams of mince, 2 brown onions, 4 cloves of garlic, 2 425g tins of diced tomatoes, fresh herbs from the garden, a little sweet soy, a tablespoon of gravy powder, a 450g tin of red kidney beans, a touch of red wine (the alcohol evaporates during cooking), salt and pepper and a dash of each tomato and bbq sauce does the 7 of us for dinner and enough leftovers for my hubby to take to work for lunch the next day. To stretch it even further and to disguise veggies, i have grated carrot and zucchini into the sauce and also added chopped mushrooms...
Bread and water.....pretty cheap.
(all ages like this recipe...)

Pizzaghetti

1 lb hamburger, cooked (ground)

1 onion, chopped (optional)

1 can tomato soup

or cream of celery soup

1/2 tsp salt

1 tsp garlic powder

1/4 tsp pepper

1 tsp oregano

1/2 tsp chili powder

2 tsp worchestersire sauce

8 oz spaghetti, cooked

4 oz mozarella cheese

Mix all except cheese (cook hamburger first). Spread in 9x13'; pan - bake 30 minutes @ 350 degrees. Top with shredded cheese, then bake 10 minutes more.

(It's incredibly easy - I just make some garlic toast - or garlic cheesy bread to go with it. Add a side veggie and you have a complete meal!)
